Our mission

The Partnership for Dengue Control (PDC) was created in 2013 to spearhead an integrated approach to sustainably control and prevent dengue. We seek to create synergies among the many new and innovative tools in the development pipeline and determine the most effective control strategies.

Workshop enrolment open

Dengue pre-vaccination screening based on serostatus:
rapid tests and implementation strategies

The PDC Pre-Vaccination Strategy Think Tank is organizing a workshop to discuss pre-vaccination screening strategies for dengue control programs and the issues surrounding the implementation of rapid diagnostic tests. It will be held January 14-16, 2019 at Les Pensières Center for Global Health on Lake Annecy in France.

The workshop will:

  • Address programmatic issues for pre-vaccination screening
  • Assess rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) for past dengue infection screening
  • Discuss implementation strategies for pre-vaccination screening programs for dengue vaccines

EPI managers, front-line academic and public health scientists in vaccine introduction and mass vaccination, industry stakeholders, diagnostics manufacturers, laboratory network leaders, regulatory authorities, and policy-makers with experience in vaccine introduction are invited to enroll.
